Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the Workplace

This wānanga is for organisations who are wanting to implement Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) in all aspects of workplace practice. This covers governance, decision making, policy, Human Resource, iconography and iwi consultation. 

Option 1

You will learn:

  1. The current state of Te Tiriti in your workplace

  2. Facts/figures/history of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

  3. How Te Tiriti affects New Zealanders today

  4. Decide own position regarding te Te Tiriti

  5. Determine personal actions to implement the Te Tiriti o Waitangi into the workplace

  6. Write Te Tiriti focussed policy for the workplace

  7. How to handle objections and sabotage to Tiriti implementation through Implicit bias awareness skillbuilding

Option 2

Full implementation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi process in the workplace. This will follow the Ahu Whakamua process ( see wānanga 1 description )
